TAKING BACK CONTROL
Rather than being reactive to what’s going on around you, take back the control of your life and your emotions. Emotions have a tendency to mislead us and let fear take over. Taking control doesn’t mean that everything is perfect, but deciding to look beyond the imperfections of life. Starting by accepting ourselves for who we are, by taking responsibility for the unfolding of our lives, in a way that differs from what we have in mind. Taking control means to surrender to life as it happens and experience the fullness of each given moment.
Chronic unhappiness could be a sign that you need to take back control by starting to make decisions that improve the joy in your life. Sometimes, we might feel entitled to blame someone or something outside of ourselves, but that will not change anything. Life is not about what is happening to us, but rather, how we respond to it. Forgiving is a very powerful way to take back control and free ourselves from any burden that is holding us back to live life to its fullest.

LIFE PURPOSE
Feeling happy and fulfilled does not mean to always get what we want, but loving what we do in life. If we are able and willing to look differently at our problems, unhappiness can serve us a meaningful purpose, by relativizing and accepting what is, instead of what we think it should be.

If we think too much of ourselves, our minds become narrow. Within this small area, every tiny problem appears to be big.
